Default Expecting 11 sec 1/4 mile on V6s?

Hi Guys.

I have a convertible F-type V6S.
I will run this spec next spring.
dual pulley upgrade with viezu tune (suppose to 495hp)
Full intake kit from Mina Gallery
200 cel Downpipe
I run 305 michelin super sport in rear combine with a LSD diff.

I'm a good drag racer. I been on track at 16 years old and now im 35.

I really wish to reach 11.9x sec.
Someone have already made it on a track with a slip?

Thank you

I would take those hp figures with a pinch of salt, i've never heard of anyone getting those figures.
Also i wouldn't bother with the upper pulley on a v6 as that makes near as dammit bugger all diference.

Same; Viezu would not have been my first choice...

the upper pulley will defiantly slip, get rid of it, only the crank pulley should be used ,, you should be around 450 hp then you need weight reduction 4000 pounds is too heavy

I think you can do it. A guy on Dragy hit 12.52 w a v6 awd. Good luck and report back. I'd love to hear your numbers.

Those are all the 'bolt on' mods basically. You're gonna have to start stripping her down to go faster.

+2. 495 has never been demonstrated for a simple pulley/tune, and the upper pulley has no impact other than to add 3-4 peak hp on top of the lower pulley. You can strip close to 180 lbs off the weight of the car with forged wheels, 2 piece rotors and a lithium battery.

Can you be specific concerning which wheels, rotors and battery that can give 180 pounds in weight savings? Seems like a lot for just those 3. Thanks.

Wortec two piece brake rotors, replace lead acid battery with a LiPO unit (Antigravity), and most good forged wheels (like BC forged). I think the battery alone is at least 30-40 lb. If you search for threads about each of the items you will find the associated weight savings.

The battery is closer to a 50lb weight saving. I just looked at the scale tickets again and the actual total weight reduction was 160 lbs. (3640 vs 3800 fully wet).
The Wortecs save about 40 lbs and the VS Forged wheels save 40 lbs. I’m trying to remember what else I’ve done to account for the other 30 lbs.

Earlier models have a 2nd battery for the ECO system which can be removed. Lance also removed the engine cover for massive weight savings.

What do spacer/adapters weigh?

Probably only a pound or two each, but those are not in either of my weights. I did have a 5 lb weight saving with the aluminum crank pulley and several pounds of air boxes when the Mina Intake was installed. A few pounds on the VAP exhaust and that 1 pound on the engine cover. Maybe it all adds up.

Wow. I hadn't realized how much the stock rotors weigh. The two piece Wortecs seem the lightest but brutally expensive. There are many after market one piece rotors but they typically do not include weight on the vendor website. I haven't seen a thread aftermarket rotors' weights. Did I miss one?
