Extending a CPO Warranty?
Hi Folks-
I'm close to purchasing a 2014 v8s vert here in MA.
The car only has 8k on it and the CPO will run to Feb 2020.
A super nice and clean example for sure. The Jag dealer is offering me an additional 2 yrs warranty of warranty for $2495 (still to 100k- which I will never hit) It has zero deductible and fully transferable as well.
Good deal or roll the dice?
Thoughts?

tough call. Would you sleep better investing/growing that $2,500 over the next 3-yrs or would you sleep better knowing that your out of pocket repair costs are fixed at $2,500 for the next 5-yrs?
Do you plan to keep it for 5 years - do you normally keep cars 5-yrs or longer?
Having a transferable will help speed your resale - probably won't recover any of the cost but a buyer would choose yours over another similar car without the warranty.
It all depends on what keeps you up at night.
