I can honestly say I never pulled anyone over just because of the vehicle they were driving but we all can point to times when someone driving a very expensive car doing ridiculous things full deserved everything we could throw at them if their attitude matched their actions.

Had my V8s for 7 months and so far just have had appreciating stares, the occasional wave and head turns. Fingers crossed that continues.
Fantastic post!

With all the stupidity I witness on a daily basis regardless of whether it's a $5K or a $500K car, it's a target-rich environment.

I drive my IRR V8S in a mostly legal manner. I have gotten more tickets in my Chevy Volt in the same time frame. I've never been scolded or chided by a law enforcement officer in the Jag and I downshift and let the popcorn machine out regularly.

Hey, slow the hell down. Again, I'm only doing about 20 mph but the exhaust screams like a NASCAR vehicle . I stopped my car to see just how much of a tough guy he is, he wouldn't look at me and instead his spouse took over the argument and tried to scold me about the sound of my BMW. It's something I'll never forget. My point, the RType will attract negative attention from police and residents but I say, who cares !!!!
Whenever my Escort Live or my Radar alert to presence of police, in addition to slowing down, I also turn off the exhaust (i.e. Put it into quiet mode).

I like to think I drive quickly, but responsibly. Fast, but not stupid. I've never been pulled in either Jag, but I wouldn't be in a position to complain if it happened. I always remember the sign I saw years ago - something to the effect of "Instead of complaining about the time you got caught, remember all the times you didn't." I may be fortunate (around here) that the e-Type is Carolina blue; however, the f-Type is bright salsa. I do get occasional comments about the color conflict. I just respond that I have the "UNC" plate so people won't get the wrong idea about me.
