FYI due to "excessive" CO2 emissions: http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/...qvwzI0AGaT3I5E

Crap, applies to my 2018 XE, according to that article. Was hoping it would be for the 300hp version, which I don't have.
Will have to discuss with the dealer what this involves.
Edit: The Jag recall website says no recalls for my XE based on VIN, but perhaps that hasn't been updated yet.

I suspect this recall applies only to Euro Jags and RRs, as it's wholly and solely about Euro CO2 emission regulations.
My understanding is that for the US there is only CAFE which is about fuel economy and not CO2, although an in indirect way CAFE has now transmogrified into a CO2 regulation. Dunno if it applies to the Cannucks though.
Note the second sentence in the article - "Jaguar Land Rover has issued a recall of over 44,000 cars across Britain....". On the Pommy Jag forum one member has opined that the recall "fix" is simply to adjust the operation of the stop/start system so that it operates in colder conditions than it does now.

I've had no issues with mine bruce and am delighted with the car, engine is brilliant power plant, good response and fuel efficient, power is instant with the spool turbo, no lag, emissions is a big thing in my country now, no high powered car been sold here, anyway not sure if mine will get a recall but it won't be touched.

Cheers, perfect just the response I was after. I can buy the XE with this engine and a beautifully refreshed interior with full dynamic pack etc and a bucket load of options for about the same as I paid for the current 25T 3 1/2 years ago, so I am mightily tempted to just get it done before the reviews come out.
