Either way, only about 1400 2021 F Types were sold in the US this year, and that isn't a lot. But I too would be curious what the mix was between the 4 cylinder, V6 and V8 and coupe vs. convertible.
When I started shopping for an F Type R in January and set up my search radius for 1000 miles, I found a lot more 4 cylinders available in stock, and a lot of convertibles. Very few V6's were seen. I had been told that Jaguar needed to sell a lot of 4 bangers in order to bring their CAFE numbers up, and frequently saw the 4 cylinder models being sold at greatly discounted prices. And being in California, the convertibles were popular.
Not to disparage anyone, but here in CA I think a four cylinder convertible F Type was the car being sold to the female driver who wanted something with more prestige than a Miata and wasn't the enthusiast that wanted a V8.
