Even at today’s exchange rate ($800 CD = $635 US), as DJS states, seems quite high! Probably not an option for you but I’d definitely get a second quote from another dealer.

i'm going to a high end shop that will do my service for me, they just want me to confirm exactly what needs to be done, I confirmed with my dealer but just making sure (I don't really trust my dealer)

The 2 year service is just an engine oil and filter change and pollen filter change, plus as DJS says a "multi-point inspection".
I would change the pollen filter myself, they are fairly cheap on Fleabay etc and they take all of 2 minutes to replace, possibly the simplest job I have ever done on any Jag, saving you a fair bit.

The filter sits in a rectangular plastic box in the engine bay, on the left hand side (driver's side in the US) up near the windscreen.
You simply unclip the cover, pull the old filter out, put the new filter in, close the cover, done!
Here's a pic (number 1):
Edit - forgot to add - you have to remove the plastic cover panel first, three simple clips takes 30 seconds.

I’m given a “multi point inspection” every time I bring the car in. Let’s say, for example, that they let a car leave with low tire pressure. It might cause problems for the dealer.
Come oil and filter change time, I’ll ask them to just change the oil and filter and call it a day. That’s just around $200 US if I’m correct.

I've always been suspicious of the so-called "multi-point inspection", and not just on Jags or F-Types. I reckon half the dealer workshops spend 10 seconds looking in the engine bay - yep no obvious leaks - and then they tick off all the inspection boxes.
Thank you sir that'll be two hours labour charge for 10 seconds "work".

I've never had a problem getting a free multi-point (let's take a look at your car and see what we can suggest you to spend money on) inspection.
My second year service was the cost of the oil change.
I did spend more when it came time to replace fluids last year (but well below $800).
I agree on the comments/advice to replace your own cabin air filters. Dead simple.

My 2nd year service was just a oil change @$230 and a pollen filter although I don't remember the price. I skipped it and did it myself.
Btw I have a V6 S with a VAP tune with 17k miles and haven't changed my plugs yet. Car seems to still be running fine. Maybe i'll look into changing them out if you all think it really could use new ones already.

Don't recall who posted this, it's different than what came with my car. But it says the V6S should get new plugs twice as often as base V6 and V8S...
