on my 2014 V8S, the spark plugs are to be replaced "every 6 years or 96,000 miles. Since I have 9300 miles on the car now, it'll be every 6 years....

Yep, there seems to be two conflicting spark plug change service schedules for the V6S, one says every 3 years or 48,000 miles whichever comes first and another says every 6 years or 96,000 miles whichever comes first.
We have discussed this on another thread (cba finding it just now!) but IMHO spark plugs don't need to be changed by age, only by mileage. As my car has only done 26,000 miles in 39 months and changing the plugs is very labour intensive and requires special tools (so it costs a bomb) I won't be changing them for a helluva long time yet!

There's quite an interesting variation in the recommended spark plug replacement schedule. My original (MY 2014) maintenance schedule said they should be replaced after 6 years / 96,000 miles vs the 3-yr / 48k in the link DJS included.

Meanwhile, the maintenance schedule in my wife's F-Pace S says 5 / 50k, while showing all the other 3.0L models (including the F-Type) as 5 / 80k. There's no distinction between the base vs "S" tunes.

I'm inclined to agree that mileage is a more critical factor than time, but I'll probably compromise and figure to replace them at 5 years, and probably about 30k miles.

My 2014 F type v6S has 14.5k. Running perfect , oil changed last august

desker quoting $1400 for my three year service . “Need to change all the fluids”.

seemed totally wacky, even for a jag. Am I missing something ?

I took my '17 V6 S in for the annual service last week (and to have the stuck top unstuck and the drivers side carpet replaced). The representative told me that the service would be $800 and something dollars. Then I told him that the maintenance was included with the purchase of the car for the first four years. He then looked it up and said it would be $0.

What would have been very interesting would be to have asked them what service they were going to do for the $800+, and then see if that's what they did when it was on JLR's dime, not yours.

my 2014 has been in once a year for the past 3 years; every time it's under $400.00 and all they've done is an oil change plus the usual "checking and testing".

Same experience for me. V8S, first 3 years oil changes only with cabin air filters in year 3. Always around $400 or under.

Year 4 and 23k miles this year - oil change, brake fluid change, power steering fluid change (not really necessary), engine air filters and an alignment for $1200 inc tax.

Thanks. I just realized that although my F is a 2014, I've been driving it for almost 5 years. However, its still only has 14K (summer drive, no snow, no track), so essentially its a one year car.
I'll have to get a line quote. I suspect the $1400 is brake fluid, brake pads, oil filter, alignment, coolant and anything else they can find. Since I'm past the 4 year warranty for almost everything, time to get practical and do what I need to do, but no more.
Your input was helpful.

Yep, if you are out of warranty you can and should do most of that yourself, I have done all of that and more myself and I'm a total mug amateur with nothing but basic tools, trolley jacks and jack stands.
I have lost count of how much I have saved by DIY instead of dealership/shop, but it must be $1,000s by now.

No way I would have paid $800+ for service. In fact, I wouldn't have even been at the dealership. The only car service I don't do myself is that which is included with the purchase of the car. I haven't even bothered to see what's required for the F-Type because they're still paying.
