Welcome to the forum Anil4565,

The diagrams from JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) illustrate the locations of Supplementary Restraint System components:

Yes - the centre console needs removing ..... when its out there is a metal plate with 4 bolts to remove ...... and underneath that the airbag module is located in another metal slot with access to 3 bolts through holes ...... If you remove those bolts the module will slide out and unclip from the wiring harness ....

Hardest job is removing the centre console to get access ....... Good luck !

Did you manage to get the dashboard out and replaced?

Default I need to replace the airbag module in the console of my f-type.

I would appreciate any advice on how to remove the console. Diagrams would be helpful. Thanks!

removing the dashboard is not an easy task but not that hard, I replaced mine and took about 5 hours total, the two main bolts that are not noticeable are the two against the windshield, there are two small covers on the dashboard (air vents) then follows by two screws, everything else should be easy, if you never done one, I advise you to get someone to get it done for you, but if you feel adventurous, give it a try, the worst that can happen is that you take couple days instead...!

Anil... I know this is a very old thread but where exactly under the center console did you find the SRS Control Module. I had the entire front part of the console off last night and cannot locate it.
