The entirety of my hood seems to need it even more than the front bumper. Other than the rockers just in front of the rear wheel, that's where I get the most gravel scuffing on my film.
Possibly overkill, but I say (from experience) do the lot! It's a false economy not to in my book on such an expensive motor...but guess this depends on whether you keep it etc.
You can bet your bottom dollar the panel you don't have covered will get hit.
Completely agree. Covering the hood completely in XPEL has saved me two nasty chips and I've only had the car 4 months. I am pretty sure the rocker panels have done similar just not aware of the rescues. As soon as I can, I plan to finish the car completely. It's expensive but The relief of not having to think about damage is well worth it.
I agree with doing the hood too. I have everything in the cool sketch done (except the grill bar) and also have behind the rear wheel and around the back bumper done too.
After doing the front (including the entire hood) and sides, I ended up going back for a strip across the rear spoiler due to a small chip right at the top edge. Just when I thought I had things covered, heh.
