Did he really drive this car? Or just talk to someone who did. I do have to agree with the Meridian comments, my Vw Golf sounds better. Maybe I'll get brave and replace the door speakers. But at the end of the day, WE have one in our garages, he does not.

I wouldnt disagree massively with anything he said, he clearly preferred the LC and they are very different cars. Personally I find the looks of the LC a little jarring and the interior a bit desperate, but that is just me, I also hated the wood all over the interior of my XKR which I thought was ridiculous, whereas most people love it. He isnt necessarily wrong about the feeling of heaviness in handling though the RWD 6 versions are lighter, forged rims make a huge difference, and anyway the car seems to handle better the harder it is pushed. And the meridian sound is better the more it is cranked up. And the ride improves the faster you go. And it sounds better given some stick - in fact pretty much everything about the car is better dialled up.
My first drive of an f type (for a day) didnt grab me at all. I was happy enough to hand it back. After buying one it actually took me several months to finally come to the conclusion that the F Type was a better car than the XKR I had before it (and yes the seats are quite uncomfortable until they get worn in and stretched), a year down the track I absolutely loved it and now we are 6 years down the track and I cant imagine letting it go.
So I dont necessarily see anything too objectionable there, it is his opinion and I dont share it, but meh...

The sound of the meridian in the new f type is perfect, a lot of improvement, in my 2017 f type was terribile without bass. I think this guy have not tested any f type.

Speaking of the sound systems in the F-Type, mine came with the 770w Meridian Surround Sound. Both my wife and I commented on how unimpressed we were with the sound quality, until…..
I stopped listening to my music via Sirius and used the files that reside on my phone as the audio source via Android Auto. The sound is bright, clear, great bass and clarity. My wife agreed that doing this makes a huge difference in the performance of the system. Anyone else notice this?
