Hi all, as tittle says, F-type battery keeps dying, I don’t know why, it is a 2017 F-type 3.0, I noticed that on my positive conector to the battery, there is a small white conector that I don’t know where it plugs to, also I notice that on the positive conector there is some threat, I believe is missing something that connect there, I’ll put a picture up, any help will be greatly appreciated it, thanks club! Positivo conector missing something? White conector unplug?
I think the white connector is used for transportation purposes and is unused after sale.
Has anything been plugged into the OBD socket recently?
Spoiler
yes, I’ve been connecting my scanner, to fix some codes, that’s about it, first a message came up saying to start car to charge battery for couple days, after that it just died all.
That's a known issue - some devices don't close the session correclty and leave modules active. The fix is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to let everything power down, then reconnect, reset the windows as necessary and you're done. One sign of the problem is that the light in the hazard switch never goes out, see that still on after a few hours and you know you've got a problem!
There are a few threads on the issue which a search might throw up.

I see..., well am taking my battery to charge at the auto parts store, So when I re-connect it all should be good right?, if it was the modules not closing properly, right? Or do I need to unplug and plug again after some time?
Also, that threaded hole on the battery connector is not used. To reset the battery control manager, you only need to disconnect the battery for about 15 seconds.
