Very interested in a F Type. Have test driven it and love it. Was driving my XF yesterday at night and it got me curious - what does the F cabin look like at night? the XF i have has a light blue under the doors, and light blue odometer/buttons. Anyone have pictures of the cabin in the dark? Also is it the same color/layout for all the trims (except logos/surround system etc)?

 

Hi. I had the first gen XF with the ice blue though it, it was a very lovely cabin and I think the best of any Jag I've been in. I saw it compared in a review to a vodka bar, but that hasnt changed my opinion at all. The new XF and XE (we have an XE) isnt anywhere near as flash in the daytime but looks pretty awesome at night. The F Type on the other hand lookd really nice in the day, and pretty good at night. You can option ambient lighting (which I have) that you can turn from red through different colours to blue, unfortunately it is only the lighting on the grab bar from memory so the footwells and doors remain the same. I have changed the bulbs in mine to make them all blue, but you only really see that when you park the car or open the door.

Other than that some lights are red when it is angry, in dynamic. Here it is in normal mode, doors shut. You wouldnt really need anything more, IMO.
