I'm certain I'll be posting a few photos when it finally arrives. Delivery date is late February.

BRG5 is an option on the website. What other way could they deliver a photo?

The website only offers a computerized build of the selected color. Building BRG and BRG#5 look exactly the same when configuring a car. Tha accuracy of the colors is only as good as your computer's graphics board. If you visit a Porche dealer you'll find a display area with metal samples of every color available that you can actually take outside and view under natural light. The goes for the interior choices. I was disappointed that Jaguar has nothing similar.

Unless JLR has changed recently, I believe the expensive upgraded colors are an upgraded paint system as well, not just the standard finish.

@Eric_E
The dealers in Europe [ white marble & glass palaces..] all have sample books of the real upholstery and body panel parts the size of a fuel cap.
These parts are sprayed with the actual colour of the paint. On the rear face of the panel the date and ID-code for the type/colour should be present.

When you order you can make a photo of front/rear of the panel and let the dealer confirm the photo's match with what you ordered...

But above all : find a dealer that has any JLR car [ if not an F-Type..] in his lot and go to see the colour for real... One of the beauty aspects
of the F-Type is the 'play' of the light and colour over the curves of the body. This is a very personal perception, so you better see it 4-real..

Strange...my Jaguar dealer (Canadian) has exactly this sample system of all the available colours, front and centre as you enter the showroom. We seem to have a tendency to blame "Jaguar" for the shortcomings of individual dealers.

Oh, I thought you expressed dissapointment when Jag told you to "see your dealer."
