F-Type convertible: Rubber seal at the top corner of the wind shield
Hello!
I just noticed something strange on my f type:
The rubber seal situated at the top corners of the wind shield is not positionned the same if you compare the rght corner and the left corner...
See picture to better understand...
So I wonder which side is not well positionned...
Is there any one who can check on his Ftype and put a picture on the forum in order to compare and conclude which way the seal has to positionned?
thank you for your help!!!
And wish you a nice week end, just crusin'!
Below picture of right qnd left side, roof opened qnd closed...
LEFT SIDE SEAL ROOF OPENED
RIGHT SIDE SEAL ROOF OPENED
RIGHT SIDE ROOF CLOSED
LEFT SIDE ROOF CLOSED

The right side is correct on your car. I just looked at my car and both sides look like your right. It appears the left hand side was out of position and has been crushed when the top closed at some point. You can see the little rubber flap that should be under the top edge crushed on the left side (in the top down picture).
It should be an easy fix.

Possible that slight window mis-alignment is pushing the rubber the wrong way when the window is closing to the up position (or the rubber has become deformed a bit). Do they look the same when the window is down?
If you raise the left window slowly, can you move the rubber by hand to the correct place?

It could well be that the window auto-indexing feature may not be working. Windows should go automatically go down a fraction of an inch as soon as the door latch is released. That could have well caused the crush on the seal when closing that door.

Good call on a possible window issue.
