Sticker price
i ordered my f-type coupe r the day the ordering opened and have an estimated delivery date of june 2. There will not be any wiggle room on the price since it’s a special order and not a factory car on the floor. The same was true when i ordered my 2013 range rover. No wiggle room on price and same amount of time to build. Just like the 2013 range rover, the coupe will most likely be produced in low numbers at first.

My experience with custom ordering is that unless the options you choose make the vehicle potentially undesirable (crazy color combination for example), that the dealer will just treat it as taking up one of their allocations. You always have the option of backing out when they receive the car. I can see how the early orders will probably be hard to bargain down though.

First I heard no discount off msrp, then $500 for loyal customers, now $1000. Still insufficient. Unless it's a just gotta have it situation, I would wait for the inventory to arrive.
Went through this once. New model, hot car, great advance press, limited availability, preorders full price with deposit, must take all dealer installed options whether you want them or not. Took a walk. 4-6 mos later. Week before Christmas in Michigan. The one dealer that accepted no preorders had 6 in stock. Take your pick of colors. No buyers for sports cars that time of the year. Got the one I wanted in the color I wanted with the options I wanted. Cash and drove it to NC the day after Christmas. Smiled all the way.

Don't know if they're the same as the convertible; pp. 28-36 of this are useful if so.

It seems very odd that promotions like this would be made available but not published.

I would also like to know where discounts get posted. i found this reference to a $4.5k discount from Jaguar to JCNA members but it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere on the Jag or JCNA sites: 4500-off-new-jaguars
