Default F Type discounts

Did anyone achieve any discounts on the actual car price or extras?

Try sites like Carwow etc. They can get you up to £1500 off or a bit more at present. Not a lot but every little helps.

I received a direct discount promotion from Jag on an F type via email about a month ago -$1500 I think. There is also Jag club discount many owners have used by joining the club.

I received the $2500 discount as a member of Jaguar Club of North America (JCNA). You may want to see if there is a similar discount offered to club members in the UK. Other than that the dealer would not budge on the price.

Right now you can get large discounts on the 2014s. if there are any left. Not so much the 2015s though.

When I ordered my car back in June, I was offered dealer discounts as high as $3500 off on '15 Coupes plus the JCNA discount...

With the JCNA discount got 8% off an R. There was another dealer that would do around 7%. The rest were all MSRP - JCNA.

I got a very good discount and then the JCNA 2500 on top of that. Plus I got a free car cover as a gift from my sales guy.

In may of this year, my local dealer had them at 10k off list, plus 2500 from JCNA. How could I not buy? At least that's the logic I used to justify a 100% emotional and illogical purchase.

Has anyone got a dealer to accept a PIN?

Might be misinterpreting where this question is coming from, but it is my understanding the dealer applies for the PIN once you present your JCNA membership card.

The dealer would have no reason NOT to accept your card, or NOT to apply for the PIN, because once the final paperwork on the car is signed, the dealer gets a $2500 rebate from Jaguar.

The smarter dealers are getting out in front of the JCNA program and using the $2500 discount as an incentive to purchase from them. If you are getting any push-back whatsoever, I'd contact the next closest dealer and take my business there.

New cars depreciate a ton, but I'll pay extra for one because that way I know everything that's happened to it from day one.

And there's something to be said for that...I'm in complete agreement and have always tended to go new knowing I pretty much was the primary driver from the get-go...you know, the first to sniff that new car smell, lol!

My car’s sticker was $106,500. With TT&T, it would have been about $109-$110k for purchasing.
I told the salesman that if I can get it $100k OTD I would do business today. He left to talk to the manager and came back with a $105k OTD offer. I restated my $100k OTD offer and insist that it’s my final offer. He went to his manager one more time and came back to accept the deal at $100k.
Easiest car negation I’ve done so far to date (took a total of about 4 minutes).

Here is the price breakdowns of V8s

MSRP vs Dealer Invoice

V8S convertible MSRP $92,000 vs Invoice $85,995 (incl. destination fee)

Performance Pack V8 S (Z38D), MSRP $2,950 Invoice $2,522
Meridian 770w (B44Z), MSRP $1,200 Invoice $1,026
Exterior Design Pack V8 S (Z99Y), MSRP $3,500 Invoice $2,993
Vision Pack 3 (Z37B), MSRP $2,100 Invoice $1,796
Premium Pack 3 (Z61H), MSRP $800 Invoice $683
Exterior Colors MSRP $600, Invoice $513

about 14-15% Invoice to MSRP on options

of course there is also the factory invoice which is typically lower so you have some room for negotiation

Coupe V8R $91,575

Here are other base models' Invoice $

Coupe V6 $60,125
Coupe V6 S $71,225
Conv V6 $63,825
Conv V6S $74,925

The options are almost the same across, think 15% off MSRP for options
