Easiest car negation I’ve done so far to date (took a total of about 4 minutes).
Pretty much the exact same deal I got.

106+ msrp for the order, 1st quote was 104. I said It had to be under 100, and 15th later they called back and agreed. With the jag club discount, was 100k otd.

He probably talked sports results with his manager, so well done for sticking with your target.

about 14-15% Invoice to MSRP on options

of course there is also the factory invoice which is typically lower so you have some room for negotiation
What is the difference between dealer & factory invoice? Working at a dealer I don't know what you mean.

Dealer invoice is the general manufacturer bill. It's the same across the board for all dealers.

You'd typically never see the factory invoice. That's where dealers make most of the money and that's why in most cases can go lower than the dealer invoice and tell you that they are losing money on the deal

Factory invoice has the account or manufacturer incentives from factory that the dealer has i.e. there may be a discount to encourage the sales of a special model. and/or if the dealer has reached a certain qouta they start getting more discounts etc. and/or if they couple the deal with manufacturer financing or deal, they can get discount etc.. That's the true cost to the dealer. It could really add up, I've seen easily 10-15% difference between dealer and factory invoice.

It is obvious you have never worked for a Jaguar dealer as no such document exists.

I would speculate that most dealer sales people are not aware of the actual price paid, after incentives negotiated by dealer mgmt. and the manufacturer. It's a "dirty little secret" that dealer invoice should really be considered "dealer MSRP" by a consumer, but that's rarely, if ever, what they actually ended up paying after the car is sold and the sales incentives are applied to dealer's costs.

I doubt any such document exists, that would be available to sales staff, as it is likely the subject of a private negotiation between the manufacturer and the dealer ownership.

www.truecar.com may give a hint on various costs. start with Jaguar, then hunt and click to find msrp and "invoice" costs for various models.

Does anyone know if the Jaguar Owners Club discount and the Employee discount can be stacked?

The Employee discount with PIN gives invoice pricing. Would be great if I can stack the JOC discount - am ordering this week.

If you are asking about the employee discount ask your sales manager when you go in to work tomorrow, he can explain that to you. He will also tell you how the JCNA discount works. You should be able to pull up all the programs when you go onto JBN. I think the current owners club discount expires at the end of the year. If you are ordering a car it may be close as to it arriving this year. If it arrives in 2015 you will have to see what the new program is. You can verify all this at work.

I don't work at a dealership. I am eligible for employee pricing as an employee of a very close partner.

Should I just ask the sales manager at the dealership I am working with?

Just thought you'd be interested in some comparative prices:

In the UK a V6 coupe with no extras costs the equivalent of $82,000.

A V6S coupe costs the equivalent of $96,400.

A V8R coupe costs the equivalent of $136,000.

A 3 year service pack is just under $1,600.

Smile, be happy, and enjoy!

Yes, we are blessed with bargain car prices compared to the rest of the world. I paid $65K for my V6 convertible.

Don't forget, though, that UK list prices include VAT @ 20%. US prices exclude tax.

Yes, of course, and I think F-Typical was talking about his total price including tax (20% VAT in his case), as I was (normal U.S. state sales tax). One of the reasons we are blessed with lower prices is a much lower sales tax on luxury items like automobiles in the U.S. as opposed to most other countries. For example, my sales tax was 6%, and I only paid that on the difference in price between the F-Type and my trade-in.

However, the other factor is that the U.S. market for automobiles, with much more disposable income per capita, is so large and competitive, that the auto manufacturers price things much more aggressively in favor of the consumer than in perhaps any other market.
