No worries. (probably a bad choice of title in the original post)

Either way, I think this is amazing! I love the look on people's faces!

I have the real one of course but it would have been fun to experience the "simulation" without knowing. Just priceless reactions. JLR needs to run this as an advert in the US. Sales would jump.

I believe it was a Super Bowl ad 2 years ago.

EDIT: NOT TRUE!

As I mentioned in the edit: NOT TRUE! I thought I remembered seeing it on tv at some point, but that is unlikely.

They should have had more content about how the folks felt about the car. Purpose of the ad is to sell cars, not how they can fool people.

I remember my test drive in the R: The salesman encouraged my to "give it some throttle" - just as we rolled up to a set of lights with a 70mph limit the other side.

Fun...

Honestly, Jaguar's marketing has been having fun, from the Special Projects to the F-Pace loop the loop, etc.... this is fantastic. Thanks for posting! You'll get me imaginary fake internet points on reddit. lol

Anyone know if the SF Experience they are just advertising is like that? It's a closed track in a shipping pier somewhere near the ferry building. Anyone else in SF Bay invited or seen it advertised?

I was invited, but I don't plan to go. I already own the Jaguar I want and am not really interested in checking out the XE or F-Pace right now.

I usually have everything and too much to do. On a lazy Sat, which this may turn out to be, I will certainly take the chance to drive fast on a closed course a few minute drive from my house. =)

No interest in the cars other than curious to see where Jag is headed...

The new sedan is totally poised to enter into the market, taking share from Merc or Caddy... for sure.

The F-Pace is a well positioned luxury SUV to add more to the JLR portfolio, just to take more share away from people trying to enter the market, like American cars with their cartel looking soccer trucks, or Jeep's lazy attempt to finally produce something of luxury for the top end....

But yes. The truth is - I would be going there to just go for a Sat drive in my F-Type, anyway. lol I might as well head north instead.
