I'm well aware of that, but I was asking F-Typical if he meant that his Euro-style JLR plate bracket would fit a US-style plate, since it screws into holes drilled into the bottom of the bumper bar, just like the Skene.

Anyone got images of this bracket - T2R13442? Cant find anything online. Or even if someone posts pictures of having used these on their car would help me choose between this and skene design bottom hole brackets.
As I said above, nice try, but I figured a quick phone call to a JLR dealership by DMV would torpedo your story.
If you purchased new, your dealer should have offered you the front plate bracket free of charge. The cars are usually shipped with them in the trunk. Call and tell them you didn't get one.
The bracket is behind my plate, and I don't feel like taking it off, but it's attached with two holes in the front of your bumper, which are easily plugged with black interior trim plugs from any auto parts supplier (e.g. Eastwood) if you were to ever move to a more friendly plate-free environment.
The Skene is two holes as well on the underside of the bumper bar, but the look is basically the same. Your choice.
. These don't have as much adjustment as Skene Design brackets have.
This is what it looks like and as far up as it ca go (may be another 1/4"). I stuck them with double sided tape to see what they look like (yes, its not perfectly horizontal). Not going to keep them.
