At only 60 vehicles, I wonder what the price is.

The 60 probably matches the total miles they'll get before we see them on BaT in a few years.

According to the UK press release "Priced from Ł122,500 in the UK".

That compares to the P575 which is Ł102,405, but that is before any options, and the SVR which used to be Ł113,500.

Anyone know for sure if this Will this be a 2021 or 2022? I keep reading this will be a 2021 model but I would think 2021 model year run is pretty much done by now.

In the UK the model year more or less coincides with the calendar year, unlike in the US

The model year is the same the whole world over. All the cars coming down the factory production line are for the same model year regardless of where in the world they are destined for.

Model year is a factory build spec so they have to be the same although there will be variations in standard equipment between countries.

My understanding is that the Castle Bromwich factory where the F-Type is built shuts down for around two weeks in August/September each year during which time they tool up for the next update/version, so the model year changes accordingly.
At least in ROW markets but it seems to me that the model year changes much earlier for NAS markets, more like March/April each year.
My guess is the Yank marketing / PR departments insist on pushing "the latest" so a ROW 2020 model becomes a NAS 2021 model, and they all do it not just JLR and have done for at least 20 or 30 years.

Not sure where you get that information from, my MY18 was built in March 2017. Digit 10 of the VIN indicates the model year - G for 2016, H for 2017, J for 2018, etc.

If that is the case, why does this not say 'except NAS market'?

All 5 litre XK's, whether they were built in 2008, 2009 or the early part of 2010 were designated by the factory as 2010 MY cars, regardless of where they were shipped to in the world.

The NAS marketing department may put a spin on it but, as SCM says, the MY is baked in to the VIN.

Like it has been said model year is the same for rest of the world. From curating the F-Type data I noticed that sometimes the builds for next years model starts in late December-January but sometimes as late as Feb. They usually mix in some pre-prod runs of 10-20 cars in late summer/early fall.

Reason for me asking is that all media outlets are saying 2021, so unless they get orders for all 60 and build them within the next month or so I'm assuming it will be a 2022 model.

I was under the impression that the first model year in the UK was 2013, while they came into the US as MY14. Indeed, it was Dec ‘12 or Jan ‘13 when I ordered my MY14. And I believe we talk about features such as the active exhaust electric vacuum pump being removed for US MY16, but ROW MY15. Perhaps we’re wrong.

From Wikipedia...
Automobiles in the United States and Canada are identified and regulated by model year, whereas other markets use production date (month/year) to identify specific vehicles, and model codes in place of the "year" (model year) in the North American make-model-year identifier.
...
The new model year typically begins in August to September of the preceding calendar year. This was partly due to the advertising of a new model being coordinated with the launch of the new
television season in late September, because of the heavy dependence between television to offer products from automakers to advertise, and the car companies to launch their new models at a high-profile time of year.[1] Imported cars use the model year convention in the U.S. and Canada, even when this system is not used for the same cars when sold in other countries.
