Default F Type how to replace switches

Hi, I have an F Type V8S. Absolutely love it. Unfortunately the switches for turning off ECO and for activating active exhaust, two most used, have become scratched, I have replacments. Can anyone help me with instructions to fit them.

I had this problem as well, all of the switches were suffering from sticky-button syndrome (car is a 2015 R) - and I went ahead and replaced all of them. It's kind of a pain in the butt, the gear shift comes out as one entire unit, and then you can remove the buttons individually from the bottom, if I recall correctly. The buttons themselves aren't really difficult to remove, it's removing the whole gear shift mechanism that took some trial and error. There are some bolts alongside the center console that need to be removed, I think after pulling out the side boards of the glovebox.

Looking at pictures of the gear shift surround of the of the car helped me located the bolts to remove.

Edit: Try this

Was thinking about doing this also. I only have the "Traction Control" button currently - no active exhaust button - but I have the active exhaust valves and can activate them in dynamic mode etc - i just can't operate them with the button. Question is, does the wiring harness have all that's needed to just replace the single switch with the Traction/Loud Exhaust button and be done or is there something more involved in the process???? Anyone tried?

Hey Frostysauce, Thanks for posting the URL to the pics. That helps. So I see (4) anchors on the console does that sound right?
Also, have you seen anywhere that shows how to take the sides off?
Trying to replace my convertible top switch and it's killing me not to be able to cruise around with the top down
Thanks,

If you had a SmartTop controller, you could control your roof with the key fob (assuming the switch is the only issue.)

yeah, Thanks DJS, I looked at the mods4cars but the top is stuck closed (which is good cause I can drive it like a coupe and not sure I can get to the installation area that is tucked behind the seat.
