You come out of the factory amp into the hi level inputs of the helix. You can then manipulate the signal in the DSP software on the laptop and tie the speaker outputs into the factory wiring to the speaker locations. You just need the front left and right tweeter, mid, and woofer door signals. The software can blend these back into a full range signal. If you are lucky enough to have most fiber running in your car, pre 2018 I believe, there is a oem audio interface that will allow you to delete the factory amp and hook straight to the main head unit which will give you a flat full range signal to work with. A quality audio shop can explain all this in much greater detail.

No, if it is pre 2018 it will be fiber post 2018 on will use a digital ethernet system. You can't get analog until after the amplifier.

The slightly confusing part is the picture you provided is showing the Harmon Unit you have is dated manufacturer in 2015. So to be 100% sure you don't have Most25 fiber connection we need to see the connections at the amplifier.

Older post, but looking for confirmation from @Cambo or others.
2024 F-Type, Surround was not an option. BUT, the center speaker is present, and the amp shows as AUD4-16, PREM 16, and has PN: LK62-19C164-EA, and a manufacture date of 05/01/2023. This SHOULD be an amp that can perform at the 770W level, correct?
If so, the retrofit companies claiming the upgrade on newer models is software only would seem correct.

Thanks so much for the reply, this has been a long ongoing pursuit of mine lol! My big issue is trying to find a company here in the United States, particularly on the East Coast, I did upgrade the speakers the Twitter and the mid-range and put some soundproofing inside my doors and it did make a major improvement however it drives me crazy knowing that center speaker is there not working, I'm still searching for a company that can do this software update...
I'm also converting to Euro taillights and Euro PIXEL LED headlights.
Trying to confirm that the designation of PREM16 and AUD4-16 is the correct amp for the 770 watt systems, as I believe it is. Do you have any knowledge on that? If the PREM16 designation is indicative, all the hardware is already present from factory and it's a matter of activation.
I haven't messed with the speakers yet, but I swapped in an SVR center vent cover (it's microsuede and matches the headliner) and confirmed the presence of the center speaker.

The reason the 770W surround system wasn't available on later '23 and '24 cars was because of the chip shortage. JLR had to ration their supply so the DSP chips that process the surround weren't installed in these cars. I don't think any software update can replace a missing CPU.
I think there's a claim being made here based only on forum speculation.
