It would look good in my driveway. I'd be all over the blue one.

No denying the car has gorgeous styling. The ftype has the beauty without being retro, but that this a 90s design it would be more evolution than retro in its time.

Default Stunning in person but small

This car wasn't really big and they make a kit that will convert an XJS or XK8/R into one in Europe. It is a pretty thing, much more E-Type than our Fs. It is kind of amazing how much bigger the F is against even the XK8.

I included two shots of my XKR with my F-Type to get a sense of size.

That is very attractive.

And yes, the growth in car size due to safety requirements such as crush zones etc., as well as customer demand is amazing. Even today's Honda Civic is enormous compared to those built 20-30 years ago. New Mini Coopers are not so "mini" anymore either.

MY wife has a 2011 Cooper and I keep thinking it's time to move on, but she thinks the new ones look like bloated chunky children. LOL She's not far off.

The pics of the kit are great, and it's amazing how small it is, and then the lines truly fall into emulation of an E-Type. It fits really well, in that regard.

As daring to be different goes, I've always been different, when it wasn't cool. Now, everyone is trying SO hard to be different, it's exhausting to me. Just be yourself. If yourself is boring sometimes, so be it. If it's weird sometimes, so be it.

But sometimes people like me are so weird, you can't tell I am being different because I am even different than the unusual or daring.

Thus my boring facade is actually positively bizarre.

And my wife's Gen 2 MINI (same gen as yours) looks and feels so much larger than my Gen 1 (2002) MINI.By the time the got to Gen 3, they should have called them MAXIs.
