Interested in buying the coupe when it first arrives next Spring. Anyone think it will be possible to get it for invoice (or near invoice), or should I expect to pay MSRP?

Very close to getting a V8 S here in the Bay Area. Dealer started out at MSRP, then MSRP-2K and then moved to invoice plus 2K. Fromm some of the posts here it sounds like there may be some additional room for maneuver.

Anyone getting invoice or less on a 2014 V8 S here in NorCal?

thanks in advance for any input.
I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on a holiday gift to myself . Can you tell me which dealer or in what Bay Area town are you finding a dealer that is doing invoice pricing .

I'm at invoice plus 2k at the San Jose dealer on Stevens Creek. Hoping to do a bit better. Good luck with your search.

bay area people - tell the local dealers you've been shopping in LA and the prices are better although you want to buy local. they will get more aggressive. the prices i've mentioned are for in stock cars, not for ordering. a little tactics will go a long way. also ask for jaguar club discount.

Thanks pnd4pnd. The dealer was upfront about the jag club discount, that's being properly treated as cash down over and above the deal on the car. Now just working on the final numbers....

I was able to get my V8 S for close to invoice before the 2.5K Jaguar Club rebate and also did OK on my trade so overall I was pretty happy with the deal.

I just bought a F Type 6 yesterday in S. Cal. Found many V 8’s but not many 6’s. Finished at $14,000 below sticker and a reasonable price for my trade. Happy and love the car!

Happy New Year!

F types appear to be selling well in the UK. Jaguar residuals will improve as the range improves and they have already.

The F type is fab and a future classic. Its a real head turner and I like the fact you can specify and design your own machine.

I also think its a bargain.

Ultimately it may be the SUV that signals Jaguar is back and serious.

Default new ride

Thanks, I think I did get a good price. The sticker was $73,450 and when the dust settled the final was $59,950. That was a cash price. Then I brought out my C6 and they bought it for a reasonable price so I used it as a down payment + put $5,000 more on a credit card to get some miles and the rest at 1.9% that they offered (same as cash). So 1.9 why not?

Love the car

Was it a demo car or something? I find this extremely hard to believe even if it was a demo car.

Nope not a demo. It did have 118 miles on it though so perhaps the manager took it home or on a short drive to San Clemente .

Great color and deal. We were told they needed to sell 2 more by 12/31 to make a quota. It also had some touch up (as may do) from delivery (to the front right corner etc.). We were told this was from delivery issues.

You got an awesome deal - that's a great price. I didn't do quite as well on my V8 but was happy with the overall deal.
