Exclamation F type overheating problem (dashboard)

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask you regarding overheating engine problem in my Jaguar F-Type. When I start driving faster about (100-120) km/h in the dashboard appears a problem (link attachment). When I start driving slower temperature arrow is going down. While I drive long distances this problem appears and arrow go up and down up and down (link attachment). My services has changed coolant capacity with sensor, but problem has not changed. Maybe you guys had the same or similar problem? Situation is badly because the temperature rises till maximum RED level (link attachment).
Car model: F-Type 3.0 340AG 2015 year /70000km.

I would try replacing the thermostat. If it sticks closed, the engine coolant will not circulate.

I have not replaced one in the F-Type, so I don't know how hard it is to reach, but its usually an easy DIY.

To troubleshoot for free, you can always remove the thermostat from its housing to see if that fixes your overheating problem. Removing it simulates it failing to the open position, which is the coolest way to run any car. If the car runs cool again without the thermostat in place, it is your problem.

Another common problem is a bad coolant reservoir cap that prevents the system from pressurizing and coolant won't circulate.

And another problem could be a bad water pump. But they usually make noise or leak coolant when failing.

This could be as simple as a bubble in the cooling system. I'd try bleeding it first.

I've had that issue on other (non-Jag) cars. A bad pump doesn't create enough flow. Allows for temp gauge 'mood swings'.

But, try to 'burp' the air out of the cooling system first.

truth to be said, we do have bad radiators; I've changed two so far under warranty. I am barely touching 80K miles (130K KM)

All of the above could be the issue, however, I agree with RacerX that the thermostat is most likely.
