Default F-Type overtaking Ferrari

I had a blast at the sonoma raceway ferrari challenge in my v8s. First time on the track with her. I had some data logging challenges, but best recorded lap was 2:05, top speed I trust was 118 - glanced at the speedo for that. my datalogger had 138 from gps but the was my phones gps and I dont trust it, external gps on the way for the next track day.

Lots a beautiful cars on the track!

Awesome! I've driven on that track, but not in the V8S. Nice drive. You didn't have any trouble passing that Cayman either!

Its a fun track, all turns, but the cat did great.

Nice lines!

Video makes my stomach feel a bit nervous....:-). Sears Point of old, was one of my home-tracks for many years when I competed in SCCA. Lots of history from that track, mostly good, some not so good (the crashes).

It was a fun track! I had never been there before. Got my rookie move out of the way in the second session. Cut turn 2 a little close, and the back wheels bounced off the high curb exactly as I rolled on the throttle. It was an interesting 3 wheel slide :-) pivoting on the front passenger. Slight wheel correction and a little lift and the car grabbed hold and I avoided the spin.

It felt like I was on ice, and in my mind took a minute... on the raw feed it look like a minor wiggle, lasting .1sec. However, the guy behind me saw it and gave me a nice ribbing on the paddock.

It is a fun, very technical track. So many places to bite you, if you drift off-line a couple of feet. Turn 10 was always a hair-riser, trying to carry maximum speeds through there into the braking area of Turn 11. There, facing the concrete barriers, head on, while last-microsecond-braking from rather high speeds... you just hope your brakes don't fail you there

Glad to see they removed the bridge in turn 6! I remember thinking the bridge supports would be a bad things to run into when I went for Jim Russell course!
