Recently I've inspected a 2014 model F-Type S I'm planning on buying tomorrow. The car has 26,000 miles and was parked at the dealership for the first 3 years of it's life (Finally was sold in mid 2017). It's had one owner, and has been out of warranty for the last couple of years.
Upon detailed inspection, a couple of fault codes were found:
However, the car drives completely fine and there are no visual or physical issues felt, also, the Fault Codes are registered as "History" and not intermittent or permanent.
My local dealer (Amman, Jordan) has asked for more than 3,000$ for the job. Which is completely insane but they are the only people who have parts for this car in my country. What I gather also, is that this is a common and reoccurring issue with these cars. I've looked online and shipping might be an option, I'm also a postgraduate student who travels back and forth from the UK which may make it easier getting parts. Is there any other party that makes these parts? (bosch.. etc)
However, is there any way we can bypass the problem with coding or a dummy sensor? say for example I go full Catless what would the steps be? (not planning to but I would assume it's a similar process).
P.S. my country's laws are extremely lenient (not very green, they don't care).
Please find attached a photo of the codes.
Cheers everyone, looking forward to being part of this club.

There are 3 O2 sensors per bank on an FType. Sensor 1 (pre-cat) and Sensor 3 (post-cat, down by the connection to the center section of the exhaust) are both wideband sensors. If you put a spacer/dummy on sensor 3 it's going to throw off your fuel trims, and likely to throw some different codes.
Do what scm suggested up thread first. Sounds like these are not current active codes and you may not have any problems at all?
Yes the O2 sensor change is fairly easy it's just done from underneath the car so access is the problem. Yes you can buy O2 sensors nearly anywhere. Jaguar does not use anything special. I am sure you will have no problems sourcing them in the UK.
Too bad the extended O2 warranty Jaguar added is specifically for North America so it does not sound like your covered.
