I've had so many bad "dealer" experiences locally (here in Central Florida) it is ridiculous. I've literally had damage parts on the car when it was returned to me and had to get them to replace them (multiple times). A friend of mine had a situation where the supercharger was replaced under warranty and they never bothered to reinstall the strut tower braces and gave it back to him that way, along with multiple other "little things" they forgot to reinstall. The local Jag Specialist (non-dealer) won't even work on modified Jags any longer because they are "certified" to do work and are "buddies" with the local dealers, which makes matters even worse if I needed a qualified and reliable local Jag specialist. Thankfully I have some really smart friends who own garages, while not specialists, I would trust more than any of these other "qualified" places. It is a real shame.

It will not be going back for servicing. I will do everything myself from now on. The only thing I would not have been able to do myself is weld aluminum to fix the damaged threads in the frame most likely cause by the dealer last time the transfer case fluid was changed!
One of those jacklegs in the shop hit it with an impact and it spun off (sucky design by the way!), and then I bet he put the impact away and used a ratchet nice and slow on the rest of them...and then started crafting his story to make it your issue. I would be willing to put money on it.
Well...Lesson learned.
Take care,
DC

Thank you for the videos and the overall positivity you brought to the forum. I learned a lot from your videos and have probably watched them a dozen times each, ha. Congrats on the new rides and I'm looking forward to see what have ins store for those cars.
