Instead of doing all that, perhaps you could reduce the number of data broker tracking and other privacy violating features your dozens of advertising partners put on this ad-bloated website. And you could also stop playing an ad video every time someone open a page.

I understand you want to make money but this really looks desperate and beyond anything any other website does.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh great, here we go...

I appreciate your input, and i'll be sure to mention it to the guys when we have our next monthly meeting in Monaco at the yacht club (we fly there in private jets, no expense spared).

Actually it would be great if you could repost those comments in the Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Center - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum where it could be addressed by the forum Admin.

I don't make a cent out of this forum, my time (like the other moderators) is volunteered. Yes thís is a commercial website, run by a business, not a charity. Advertising pays for this place to stay open. As for it being invasive, I wouldn't know, i've set up my browsers to block advertising content.

My original point was, keep this thread on topic, you know, about the car...

No, but as the moderator said, back to a civil discussion about our common interests.

Back to the car please, as Cambo suggested. Some of us got a little heated here (including me) so let's all be civil and discuss how awesome phillyweb's F-Type sounds while running 11.4 quarters.

Closest thing I had to hard data on the car before the mods was a 90-145 pull I recorded. I went back out to the same road the other day and recorded an after video. I'm at almost 4000', however much you think that matters. It got to 145 about 2.5sec quicker. Like everyone else on here that has had there's tuned by someone, the extra 60-70hp is definitely noticeable. Even at low rpm with normal throttle you can feel it starting to pull harder.

I know some normal people question why some of us crazies would add more hp to a car that already has trouble putting down a measly 550. You don't have to use the power all the time, but it's always right there if you want it. If you know how to drive a little bit, and you don't just mash the throttle with clown shoes, that little extra just makes the smile we get from our "R"s a little bit bigger, and your pulse race a little bit faster.

Well the car gives you more of 4 of those and less of 2. The math just makes sense.

Sorry man, I don't have the exact 11.4??/126.?? numbers. I'm going to try and take it to TNT tonight, mostly to see how the elevation affects performance. I might have it out in San Diego the last 2 weeks of Dec., depending on the weather and track schedule I'll try and get some more sea level numbers.

I think it is pretty damn awesome what you did.... Brave of you to have your car as the tester but none the less I am likely considering doing that to my cat

I'm going to consider this down the road, but 10K seems a little steep for what was done. Cecil..............

Has anyone tuned their V8S, pulley, ecu and intercooler? 620HP is what I would like but want to know if its been achieved and if so where. Its the same engine as the R, right?
