Default F-Type rally car

Don't get me wrong, as I think this is cool... But if you were going to build a one-off rally car, wouldn't it be better to start with a coupe as opposed to a convertible? Why do you think Jag went this direction? Shots from the final public performance in North Wales here.

My understanding is this car was built before the coupe was introduced. Maybe they should try again now that they have a proper hard top, tho.

Impossible this is based of a 2.0 4 cylinder F type, which was a 2018 model year, coupes had already been out for almost 4 years.

Same car and as I explained it is a vert to remain in keeping with the XK120 it is commemorating.

A fairly silly adaptation of the F-Type.

Not as silly as the F-Type bicycle carrier JLR did for Tour de France
