F-Type remote key jam

F-Type remote key jam
My father in law has an F-Type and has been having terrible trouble locking and unlocking his car at home. I think there's some jamming signal in the area.
It's a very wealthy part of North Yorkshire, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was some kind of criminal activity, but it seems to be very persistent, and he hasn't had the car nicked yet!
The dealership seem unable to do anything about it, or even have much of a clue about the problem. Just wondering if there are any tips on ways to get around it. Maybe a Faraday cage around the garage?! Or maybe one can somehow change the frequency on which the key operates?
I'd like to go and visit with a scanner, but it's a long way.

Or you could paper your entire garage in aluminum foil. There is also paint that can be used to thwart any kind of radio waves.
I line all my hats with aluminum foil to counteract alien mind control. I can just imagine someone in my neighborhood trying t turn my bulb on and off. lol

I actually recall reading an article somewhere that suggested leaving remote key fobs in a Faraday cage overnight that can be found in most kitchens - a microwave oven. Supposed to prevent the key fob from chirping back to scanner requests from tea leaves intent on making off with your pride and joy. Of course remember to take it out when you make your morning porridge otherwise you will be at least $400 poorer but still have your car. And a bowl of cold porridge.

I trust that you have a healthy battery in the key fob.
In the UK 433Mhz band that the key fobs work on is a shared frequency with many higher power services/devices.
The higher power devices, such as hobby radio, commercial pagers etc do not transmit a constant carrier, ie they are not on hour after hour, but in short 'ish bursts.
Does he live close to a mast or comms tower in an elevated position?
It's a long shot and he would have to be relatively close for it to interrupt the signal.
P. S Faraday pouches or similar are not applicable in this case, only from stopping your fob from talking to the car.
