Default F-Type Show of Force Hour

In an attempt to increase F-Type awareness through higher concentrations, thus boosting sightings, sales, and our egos, I suggest we adopt a world-wide F-Type Show of Force Hour.

I suggest Sundays from 9-10am, since most people who can afford one are up by then, and those who cannot afford one should be awoken.

If they want increased sales they should lower the price. We all know the starting price of all F-type versions is way too expensive. That’s why they tank after 2-3 years.

Your location not shown. Forum covers a wide spread of time zones GMT -9 to +13 if not wider.

Instead of, "an attempt to increase F-Type awareness through higher concentrations, thus boosting sightings, sales, and our egos" - how about something as simple as good customer support?

Are you offering to pay for my time and miles? If not, why would I volunteer for JLR marketing?

Sure why not? How would you suggest we enjoy driving our cars without giving JLR free marketing?

I really can't understand what is the point of getting in the car and driving around for an hour for no purpose at all... I didn't buy the car to "give JLR free marketing". As Sinf said... wanna pay for time, gas and wear on the car? I am sorry but this idea is bizarre. Join a Rally maybe and show the car around

I enjoy seeing other F-Types, but if you don't, whatever. I should remind myself that not everyone has the luxury of only driving their F-Types for pleasure. Seems like a crazy choice for basic transpo, but to each his own. I have never driven either of mine for a reason except having fun. Actually sometimes I have a reason: to get gas.

I love driving my F-Type around for no purpose - other than to enjoy it.

My F-Type is the only car I own and I drive it for every reason there is to drive a car: pleasure, necessity, whatever. When I first decided to purchase one I had myself convinced that I would need another vehicle, a sedan that would accommodate at least four adults. I actually looked at the Alfa Guilia, but wasn't impressed, thankfully, lest I might have bought one. After nearly a year without the sedan I've decided that the need does not exist and if I need a bigger box for a specific purpose, I'll rent one. My only other mode is a Harley and it's 99.9% used for pleasure (and satisfying my neanderthal need to shift gears manually.)

Can't beat fun on 2 wheels. That's the only reason I ever use it
