F Type Supercharger belt tensioner differences

Good Day Ladies and Gents,
I have recently located the source of squeaking noise in my F Type supercharger belt.
The belt is most wobbly and the noise is the loudest around the tensioner area.
My F Type is an early 2013 model and had an old type tensioner C2D21154 with a 1412 mm belt, however is seems that later the tensioner was replaced with a modified unit C2D49666 but used a longer, 1438 mm belt.
Would it hurt to replace the old type, faulty tensioner with a brand new, but of new improved design tensioner? I would also replace the belt for a 1438 mm belt.

I was looking into this last year as well, and was told that Jaguar only sells the new tensioner unit. It should be fine to replace the entire assembly as long as you get the longer belt too. AFAIK the original tensioner is a Ford part, so there are non-OEM options too if you would rather not replace the entire assembly, but just need a replacement tensioner.
