When the wizard conveys words of wisdom, listen and follow the advice. I think Oscar was in an Irish Pub on his 5th Guinness at the time.( or in jail over, at the time, unlawful indiscretions). A few bourbons will get you there too Marko. If I was nearby, I'd come over with Jay and Jim to foster the temptation to action.

Not sure what the premium is for a Vert, but the Marin Mazda coupe I was looking at was fully decked out with CCB and carbon, plus the wrap at similar price point.. I would think this should be less than that car that only had 775 miles? Daylight savings time rollback is so you can get in extra time for F type window shopping!

Thanks Feral! Do your illuminated tread plates have a script? SVR or Jaguar or something else? Mine doesn't have those, but I have the "JAGUAR" illuminated on my R and like them. Wondering if they can be retrofitted to an SVR that didn't come with them? Often the wiring is there and it is plug and play. Thanks.
P..S. Did forum search and found replacement video. Some work to make the switch.

We are on standby ready to support the your purchase of an SVR. I can tell you it is a different car than the R. Feels (and is) lighter and glued to the road. Many gorgeous vert SVR's to choose from. I have to say the CCB's and carbon packages add to the price but I am really glad I went that route (thanks Portlander!).
First it was you and your obsessive quest to go from an “R” to an SVR. Next you put the bug in jaguny’a head (eyes/ears) with your stunning white beauty…just two months ago. Now you have Mbourne contemplating an SVR. Who’s next, me? (I’d be lying if the thought didn’t enter, and quickly exited, my mind).
Thankfully there will not be a 2022 Jaguar F-Type All SVR Tour as that would exclude, well, most of us. Still, it will be nice having several SVR’s at the next event.
Speaking of which, SVR 575 is just the man—and based on my correspondence and conversations with him, a lovely guy—for the job should Mbourne desire someone “laying eyes” on that SVR. I will miss seeing Mbourne in his white “R” but delighted seeing his new blue SVR.
All this is to say, you go Portlander, you go!

I was out of line Jay, I own it and I apologize to all F-Type owners for my obsessive urge to purchase an SVR and attempt to influence others to follow my lead. I encourage all concerned to be content with your current Jaguar, sadly it's to late to save Vince and Mbourne may have already taken a sip of the Kool-aid.

I have had several conversations with Connie Terrell at Imperial relating to my search for an SVR this past spring, it would be my pleasure reach out to her to set up a look and test drive on Tuesday

It's my contribution to the full court press, should I feel guilty about this @RickyJay52 ? ![Icon Pimp](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_pimp.gif)

Of course you have nothing to apologize for and I am indebted to you and grateful for helping steer our dear Vince in the right direction. Your help and influence is greatly appreciated.
I’m not a big (or even little) believer in guilt SVR 575 and I too am appreciative of your offer to one of our most esteemed Forum members and dear friend, Mbourne (even more so of his wife).

Yes, it seems they all have the wiring already in place and are "plug and play".
But no way you are going to be able to swap removed plates to another car, to get the old plates off you must destroy them and there is no way around this that I can see. Well at least not with the OEM "plain" plates as they are glued down way too strongly and it's odds on to be the same with the illuminated plates.

Lol. You guys are worse than crack dealers! Thanks SVR575 for your kind offer but I’m going to have to pass up on this one. As beautiful as it is, I just can’t part with my white V8S. That car is going to the end with me and Im going to pass it on to my son in 50 years or so!
