If you ever sell this let me know

Very nice Vert BRG SVR Marker. You are correct that BRG SVR's are quite rare. Only two BRG SVR Coupes in 2018 and the two are spec'd very differently - one has no wing and is missing some of the factory options. Yeah, that was my BRG SVR in Vail. It has won First Place "Best Of Class" at the Vail Concourse in years 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023. Ftyperegistry has a Thread "F-Type SVR Production Numbers and More" https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...0/#post2362441 It's a long thread but well worth the read to get factual build numbers...

Default SVR Convertible

Hi @all, especially @ftyperegistry,

I want to buy an SVR convertible and found this one with just 8100 km on the clock: SAJDA5BE9JCK45546 in Corris Grey with CCB. The SVR was produced for South Korea (should be MY18) and came to Germany in 2021. It has the LED headlights and the light magnesium performance seats. What makes me a little bit skeptical is that is has the old InControl Nav with buttons instead of the new one.

Can you tell me more about this car? And can you tell me how much SVR convertible with Facelift were produced worldwide in 2018 and in 2019?

And what was the price for this completely new in EUR?

Thx

It's definitely MY18, the J in position 10 of the VIN tells you that. The switch to the 10" buttonless screen occurred partway through the MY (mine has the 8" screen with buttons that I really like) so yours is likely an early MY18 - mine's JCK49xxx and was built late March 2017.

That SVR was a preproduction 2018 F-Type SVR used for auto shows and media events. Starting with the 2017 Seoul Motor Show. It was on display for a couple years in Korea dealerships but never sold. Jaguar eventually sold it or auctioned it off and popped up for sale in Dubai in 2020 during the pandemic. I don’t think it ever sold and was exported to Germany in 2021. Video of the car can be seen here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v1uWA1...ature=youtu.be pictures here https://www.drive.com.au/news/2017-s...ound-in-korea/

Default PPF and Ceramic coating

Well, last month I decided to bite the bullet and do the entire car in PPF and then ceramic coating and I couldn't be happier! I know there are very varied options on both PPF and ceramic coatings but after reading a lot of information and visiting 3 different detail shops I decided the pros outweighed the cons.
Many years ago I had a black car and I swore I would never have another because I hated the paint swirl. Then I saw this 2017 SVR for sale and I fell in love. The original owner had had a paint protector applied and as a result the paint was still near perfect and that was a selling point for me. Now that I've owned the car for 10 months I've fallen completely in love and I don't think I will ever sell her so investing in a little extra money in protection to ensure the paint remains like new (along with hand washing) wasn't that hard a decision. The car literally looks like it just came off the production line!
Everytime I go for a drive I come home with a sore face from all the grinning I do!!!
