Well, last month I decided to bite the bullet and do the entire car in PPF and then ceramic coating and I couldn't be happier! I know there are very varied options on both PPF and ceramic coatings but after reading a lot of information and visiting 3 different detail shops I decided the pros outweighed the cons.
Many years ago I had a black car and I swore I would never have another because I hated the paint swirl. Then I saw this 2017 SVR for sale and I fell in love. The original owner had had a paint protector applied and as a result the paint was still near perfect and that was a selling point for me. Now that I've owned the car for 10 months I've fallen completely in love and I don't think I will ever sell her so investing in a little extra money in protection to ensure the paint remains like new (along with hand washing) wasn't that hard a decision. The car literally looks like it just came off the production line!
Everytime I go for a drive I come home with a sore face from all the grinning I do!!!

You have a wingless SVR. . I always find those interesting as SVR without the spoiler are definitely rare. Specially after 2018-2020 model years when al lot less SVRs were made. Here are a few pics of a listing from a few years ago.
@scm. It was ordered through Jaguar Auckland in late 2018 and due to arrive January 2019. This was actually delayed until May 2019 due to logistics.
I suspect it is a MY19 and Jaguar wanted to make it sound more exclusive than a MY19 maybe? It was suggested some 2020 features had been incorporated- namely the central display unit. Anyway I'm not entirely sure about that aspect but was hoping @Ftyperegistry could shed some light on the build numbers and specs of NZ and perhaps Austrlian units if that info was available.

There were only like 11 SVRs in New Zealand. Something like that. Plus that color is super rare as well. Only a handful. I’ll get specifics when I get a chance to review the spreadsheets. Thanks for sharing the pics.

ah! sorry (but not sorry, lol) I grabbed it. it's in great shape and I was really pleased it's still under warranty/scheduled maintenance until Aug 2026. I'll keep you in mind if I ever plan to sell. So far driving it a few times a week but low mileage. Thinking about doing a wheel upgrade and also considering PB brakes. I feel like rotor and caliper upgrade would really suit the vehicle.
Send improvements pics as you add/update. You may want to consider adding a carbon-fiber wrap on the roof, it will give the Jag a more aggressive appearance.
