Correct. 1 of 13 2017 Caldera Red Convertibles allocated to the US . Attached is a pic when it was new at Jaguar Cole European.
Thank you! That is awesome and the picture is great. I need some good pics of the car and that one is now the best I have. Can you tell me how many were built worldwide? I've looked back and either its not there or I missed it.

There were 23 Caldera Red SVR Convertibles worldwide for 2017.
Darn. Sucks that it was a press car. A high performance press car is like finding out the model you're dating is famous for the same reasons Paris Hilton/Kim K became famous. I really like that one color but do not want one that has been ran through by sports journalists.
Lol. . That is an excellent comparison.
On the plus side it is a CPO car, lower than average mileage. If I was in the market for one I would actually use the fact that it was a press car to negotiate it down to 70k or lower.
Just an idea to try and see what the dealer comes back with.

When you say "common" how many of the 467 '17s were glacier white? Also, is your database posted anywhere?
94 Glacier White - 63 coupes. 31 convertibles. By common spec I mean that it is a standard "base" SVR. Not many options added and pretty common interior color combination.
My database is not posted anywhere yet. Got plans for that down the road when I have more time to get that going.

Here is a perfect example of why one should never blindly believe what most car dealers say. A member on the forum reached out regarding this SVR SAJWJ6J81HMK39075 asking if I had any info on it. He suspected it was a Jaguar corporate/demo car from the carfax even though the dealer denies it. As I have mentioned before almost all of the SVRs with serial number HMK38xxxx or HMK39xxxx were Jaguar demo cars used for press reviews.
Here is the listing: https://www.imperialmotorsjaguarofla...9a2ffae1b8.htm
Well this car is actually the one used in this review: https://www.motorbiscuit.com/2017-ja...pe-svr-review/
There is even a picture that if you play around with in a photo editor and enhance it you can actually make out the last digits of the VIN.
But let's give the dealer the benefit of the doubt if they were to say a blurry pic does not convince them and go along with their deception.
The listing states that it was not a Jaguar track car or factory demo. Straight from the listing "Sold and serviced by us to a local Doctor who has been one of our best and most loyal clients. Only 24k original one owner miles and what truly separates this car from the crowd, among many things, is that we have chosen to include the very expensive 7yr Jaguar Certification, not just 6 like almost every other seller. This car was special ordered by him and was NOT a Jaguar track car or factory demo. It has never been tracked or abused in any way."
Well according to the CARFAX the first owner took delivery of the car when it had more than 6k miles. Who orders a new car and accepts it with 6k miles and a year later after it was built.
The best thing about this is the internet does not forget. Here is the dealer itself saying it was a Jaguar Corporate Demo back in 2017 when it listed it for sale. I have attached a few pics of the original listing from 2 different sources.

since your hard work has given me an idea of how rare my car is 1 of 13, I happen to run across another SVR convertible today. I met him several months ago and Daily’s his Ultra Blue 2017 SVR.
so the question is... which one is rarer? I don’t have his VIN but I told him about this thread today. Awesome work you have put together!
That there one is a 2014 V8 S. Again... probably pretty rare. Amazing we are all here together

Interesting lens you have on that camera. The center SVR looks to be about 3/4 as wide as the two next to it.

iphone 12 pro max on wide angle. Couldn’t back up any further. I definitely have to pay attention to that better in the future. I’ve now done that a few times.
Here is my @redcollectionatl largest mustang ever built... 🤣😂

Thanks Xec for reaching out.
Well, at least they've admitted to the "mistake". Somebody bought it though. Wonder if the buyer was informed of this mistake... Mr. Petitt, I want to sincerely apologize. You are correct, this car was driven by a Jaguar Executive. At the same point and time I had ordered virtually the same car for my customer, except only one less option. We received both of these cars back at the dealership in October of 2017. I should have completed my due diligence before my reply. My customers car did not have the Jaguar Suede Cloth upgrade. Again, no misrepresentation here, just a simple human error on my part. This car has been sold in nearly record time, and while I highly doubt I will get another, I will advise if we do. Thanks Steve
