Hmmm. The pic showing the door jamb clearly shows SAJDA5BEXJCK46155 as the VIN. So pics don’t match car you bought. That would explain the different colored vents that therock88 pointed out

Thats interesting. Those are the pictures the dealer sent me after my first viewing. I understand there were two identical cars imported about the same time - both new - one of which went to Alba. I’m guessing he mixed them up or used the same pictures for both. I did check the car out properly and had the spec sheet printed so I’m certain it’s all above board.

Here’s another picture where you can see the carbon wrap on the hood vents.

I’m actually in the process of sourcing OEM carbon bits for the car. Mirror caps purchased and will arrive next week. Hood vents and front splitters next.

Also have a 10” OEM infotainment system on the way to retrofit (have a separate thread on this).
Wow...They wrapped those vents? Most places won't touch or recommend wrapping something in that configuration due to the time, complexity, and questionable longevity of the wrap.

If/when you have a chance, I would LOVE to see a close-up picture of those vents wrapped. I have them on mine as well, and can wrap most things, but no way I was wrapping those...Had them re-painted instead. They must be very talented to wrap those.

That explains it. Also I think the vents look better like that. Breaks up the F-Types long hood/bonnet.

Yeah, I’ll edit the post to avoid any future confusion.

Had my painted also and I agree with Ftyperegistry, it does help break up the long bonnet.

I definitely like the carbon fiber look on the hood! It breaks up the long hood and accentuates the hood vents.

Certainly more cost effective than ordering the actual OEM carbon vent piece. They’re round $1300 EACH.
