What's up, Jaguny. I remember you from the XF side. I have a set of aftermarket on an mine. 21x9, 35mm offset, with 255/30/21 tires on the front and 21x10.5, 45mm, 295/25/21 in the rear. No issues at all. 17mm spacers in rear on order.

Well switched from XF to ftype last year. Trying to sell my summers from the XF. Someone wants them for a f type S. Your custom off sets are much higher than my aftermarket Savini's.

Based on your specs, the rear wheels will extend the face of the wheel by a little less than 7mm. That works well. However, those front wheels extend the face by more than 23mm. That will not work. Anything more than 20mm will definitely interfere with the fender lip under spring compression.

I know I'm reviving a very old thread here! But I'm looking into wheels myself at the moment... I have a 2017 MY18 R.
According to this website the standard SVR Maelstrom wheels have an offset of 55/54?
20" Jaguar Maelstrom SVR #1041 wheels in Satin Black Diamond Turned - Alloy Wheels Direct (7706643)
Any help with this would be appreciated. I am a newbie to these things.

Maelstrom are an unusual wheel, they are one of the only two OEM Jag wheels which fit over the carbon ceramic brakes (the other is Storm), hence they have different front offsets to others, and the rears are 1/2" wider than the others, 11.0" vs 10.5".
These size differences are solely due to fitment over the CC brakes so if you don't have CC brakes there is no need to go with the 54 front offset and 38 should be OK, in fact 54 offset will cause the front wheels to sit way tucked in and look a bit crappy.

BC Forged recommend +42 front and +28 rear. Sound about right to you? If I run standard tyre size on the front do I need a 9 or a 9.5 wheel (I think the standard alloy is a 9 right?)
If the standard wheels are +55/+38 then the BC Forged wheels will sit "further in" to the wheel arches because the numbers in their recommended offset are lower than standard?

Thanks mate, I'm looking at BC Forged and wanting to run an 11 at the rear to put the 305 tyre on. Reason I want to put a 305 on is I'm gonna get a VAP tune to take my car to approx 600bhp.
Yep, it makes sense to go to a 305 on the rear with 600 bhp.

Stock front 20" wheels are 9.0", no real need to go to 9.5" but it can't hurt.

Nup, other way around, the bigger the (negative) offset number the further in ("tucked") the wheels sit and the smaller the number the more they "poke" out, so those BC wheels will sit 13 mm further out at the front and 10 mm further out at the rear than stock. Not a yuge difference but good enough with 305 rear and 265 front tyres to still avoid rubbing issues.

Thanks, that is super helpful of you.
Final Q (for now!!) you mentioned 265 front, I'm running a 255 front right now, do I really need to go bigger at the front? The car is "predominately" RWD right, until it decides it needs some front help, is there much benefit in widening the fronts really?

BC FORGED 20X9.5 ET: 46MM
BC FORGED 20X11 ET: 32MM
I added 5mm spacer to mine as I wanted it to sit more flush so offset ended up at 41mm/27mm, front/back respectively. I also run stock size tires. so the specs they recommended is 1mm more inset...but I would be careful with this as you could possibly run into rubbing issues w/ the wider tires depending on which tire manufacture you go with (you may need to work w/ your tire store if it does rub to go to stock size if needed).
what year f-type do you have? you may not need to upsize if it's AWD and chose something like a PS4S. got them on my 2015 R RWD and I have no issues w/ grip.

so a +42 +28 that BC have recommended to me would make the rears stick out even further than yours?
I have a 2017 F Type R AWD (MY18). My plan is to use Michelin PS4S 305 and 265.
I defo don’t think I want the wheels to stick out past yours!!
