Failed mag batt charger idea

When I had a Corvette an aftermarket guys developed a foolproof quick disconnect for battery maintainers using Rosenberger MagCode connectors. See the attached pdf's. The connector rests on the front grill and is connected to the battery system. The charger has the other connector and it just magnetically snaps to the grill-side connector. If you forget and drive away, it just disconnects, no arc, no problem.
I bought one hoping to install it on my new F-Type but then I looked at the battery jump connectors. They are not threaded bolts to which you can attach eye connectors. I cannot figure out a simple way to attach the wires from the grill-side connector to the battery jump connectors under the hood.
I would welcome any thoughts or I can just use a standard connector in the trunk.

Why? It's just so damned easy to wire up a Battery Tender or CTEK in 10 minutes or less and plug in the quick connector in the trunk.
When the time comes that I can't remember I have it plugged in, I should probably not be driving anymore, but I do leave the charger on the driver's side so it's pretty impossible to miss as I approach the driver's side door.

Yeah, I know, I wired up a CTEK in the trunk and it is easy enough but the mag connection takes 3 seconds vs opening the trunk, lifting the floor, connecting the charger. And, I need an extension cord for the rear of the car, not so for the front. Basically the mag connector is a more elegant solution and I am into elegance. Not going to happen, methinks.

Mine wasn't long enough either until I changed where I put the positive. The positive side can be ANYWHERE on the BUS Bar. It's all one solid piece of copper anyway.
After changing the positive location, you'll have enough to just barely have the end stick out the back of the hatch cover.

I just mounted the connector on the aft bulkhead in the trunk with trim tape. That gave me a longer cable to the 12v connections underneath and a magnetic quick disconnect for use in the trunk. Doesn't really save me any time since I still have to open the trunk, but at least I can leave the trunk floor in place now.

Gentlmen,
As an electrical guy. I install permanent connectors for my cars. There are a few options.
A. I use a SAE flange connector. These work very well and the use the same connector as most battery maintainers.
I try to find a soft part of the car (plastic) usually a wheel well area as it is hidden from view and fairly easy to get to. Also if I make a mistake while drilling the hole it is cheaper to replace. these are easy to find and very inexpensive and small.

B. you can buy a vehicule mounted battery maintainer and run the power cord to a NCCO Genius power connector.
These are well made but a bit too large for my liking.
For all of these you should have a basic understanding of electricity and be able to solder connections.
Any mechanic could do this for you, or a car audio guy will do a great job.
