That roll bar/cage can do more harm than good if not properly padded. Adding the padding is inexpensive...so why not?

Strange. NASA specifies that all roll cage surfaces that may come in contact with the driver should be padded with high-density padding such as Ethafoam or Ensolite. SCCA further stipulates that the padding must be at least one inch thick.

Right now, just going to change how quickly the nitrous comes in. Currently, it seems to start coming in at half track. So we'll bump that up a bit, see if I can get it to start around 330' and full engaged by half track...something like that to try and avoid freaking out the TQ limiter - ha.
The general feeling is a 100 shot would be about the ceiling...but honestly...no one is really sure

100 shot would be very interesting if mid 10s aren't enough

^ Good point, am I positive? I suppose not, however, they didn't mess with the TCU at all. Well, I got my hands on the progressive controller...after the holiday here I'll get back to the track and bring the nitrous in quicker.
I did confirm that it was set up to have the nitrous fully engaged 6 seconds out - so essentially the car wasn't getting the full 70 shot until (surprise) half track.
So we'll see what it does

Hey guys....
Funny you all should ask today. Well, it's been absolutely blazing hot here in NJ for what seems like the past 2mo's...90deg+ daily?! So I haven't been back to the track...however, maybe next Friday if the weather cooperates. I still think it'll go 10.6x on the 70 shot...10.7x at very least.
I did goto another 1/2 mile event, it was in the 90's with a DA of ~3800 feet - gross. But the car still went 158.33mph - I brought the 70 shot on about half way through the pass and the car loved it. Everyone was down 10-15mph from the spring event. I'm am more than sure this car will trap 163-165mph this Fall in October.
On to some more good stuff...While I can't justify buying myself a 570s or 2017 R8 quite yet...I can justify some other stupid (read: AWESOME) moves.
I found a 5.0 XJ short block that needs to get machined, etc. for $2200. And I currently have PowerHaus reaching out to a few piston and rod manufacturers to get a ballpark on custom pistons and rods. I'm guessing 1200-1500 for pistons and maybe $1800 for rods...then throw in some head studs, magnaflux the block, hone it...blah blah blah.
We're getting Nitrous Outlet on board to sort out something extra nice for it. Probably something along the lines of a 350-400 progressive shot.
Here's to good friends and bad decisions...
