Default Finally an owner!

After a couple of years of talking myself out of buying one, finally took the plunge and purchased, couldn't be happier with it. A few years old so needs a bit of TLC here and there but enjoying it so far! Purchased from CarMax, took the extended warranty so hopefully that will mean a worry free ownership experience ha! Had driven the v6 before as a rental, the v8 - wow!

took her a spin up to Blueridge, GA today and snapped a couple of pics by the river!

Congrats and welcome! I’m assuming it’s a 2016+?

Yep, 2017. generally in good condition, lots of swirl marks in the paint to buff out though!

Fantastic, my favorite colour! On the paint I am finding the Carpro polyshave block is really easy to use and gives great results, used with a good clay lubricant. Zero effort too, you go very lightly.

I wasn't keen on the color to begin with, the pics of the car when I was shopping were all taken indoors and it looked really dark, but absolutely in love with the IRR now! It looks tremendous in the sun! thanks for the tips, definitely looking forward to spending some time on things like that in the next few weeks.

Cheers, it is an odd colour to photograph - in some lights it is almost purple, in others it looks blood red. My missus' XE is also IRR (firenze red they call it now) and when you look at our two cars in the garage they dont look the same colour.

If you were a snooker player you'd know that red isn't actually a colour!
