Default First ever Jag and it's a F Type!!

Well I dove in head first and purchased my first Jaguar yesterday. I've always been a collector of classic cars and decided I needed a new modern classic. My other cars include a 1966 Ford Mustang and a 1974 Corvette Stingray.

My 2017 F Type British Design Edition in Ultra Blue!!! I had a 2 hour ride home and absolutely love this ride, I'm hooked!!! I look forward to learning from other F Type owners about thier cars and driving experiences.

Congrats! I came across one in person at a dealer while searching for my car. Absolutely stunning and pictures just don't do it justice.

+1

Since your car doesn't have the black pack, and you have those awesome carbon fiber wheels, to finish off your car you should indeed get carbon - louver, vents, and mirrors to match the wheels.

I would also get your window trim and grill trim wrapped in matte black.

You would then have one of the nicest F's around. One worthy of that special edition color.

The devil's in the details.

But welcome! And be sure to enjoy her.

Thanks guys, @polarisnavyxj yes I will have to put those items on the list in the future. I've been debating on putting a light tint on the windows? Here are some interior photos as well.

I've never been one to use youthful phrases, but today I think I may have to resort to one as the normal superlatives just don't quite express it:

That car would look sick with carbon fibre mirror covers and side vents.

Congratulations on your new toy; I hope you have many happy years of ownership.

That color is so nice! I also think CF accents would look perfect with it.

Nice interior color. What is it? I have the discontinued mineral, which is more gray than what you have.

I did 5% on the rear three windows and 35% on the D & P windows. Looks perfect. Just love the way the rear hatch glass now is dark black like the pano roof and now all looks like one uninterrupted piece of black glass. The other obvious advantages are - No-one can look inside your trunk without a flashlight so you can now basically remove the trunk cover and increase your load volume by like 20%. The other advantage is keeping your interior cool.

I highly recommend you do the rear window at 5% suntek tint.

How does the 5% affect seeing at night in the rear view mirror? I hate to rely completely on the rear camera.

Congratulations! I just made a similar decision two weeks ago to pick up my first Jag as well. I have a 68 Vette convertible too.
