I took delivery of my 2016 f type I special ordered on July 27, 2015. My VIN is SAJWB6FC9G8K27824. I know I am being lazy but I would love to know build date and what number manual it was out of the factory. I hate retracing a path someone has already walked.
And yes I am part of the slipping clutch club presently fighting over $3800.

I put my deposit down then (two days after the manual was officially displayed at the LA Auto Show) but couldn't actually order until specs were made available and a slot opened up for my dealer. Without looking it up, I think I'm K28075 and I did get my clutch replaced under warranty (and the TSB).

FWIW
SAJWB6E69G8K28774
March 8th 2015 Deposit down on base 2016 manual
Order went in around May 29th - June 6th.
Received the car on August 12th 2015.
Got clutch replaced per dealer and HQ agreeing it was slipping at about 500 miles in or so.
That thread is around here somewhere.
edit: surrendered it around the end of March 2019, for the replacement 2019.5 build. Yay.
I am sure none of this is needed, but hey, we're in the manual gearbox appreciation society.
