Default First Jaguar Purchase

As the title states, this is my first Jaguar and my first car. I have a financed a few but never had possession.

I値l be picking up a 2016 F-Type R tomorrow and had some questions on topics I知 a bit confused on.

Specs: 2016 F-Type R, Firesand Orange, 9k miles, built in Feb 2015.

Driving: Is it possible to drive in dynamic and sports mode while in auto? I believe I壇 have to engage the manual via the paddle shifter to drive in manual?
Exhaust: I知 not sure if my car has had the dreaded software update to tone the backfire down (CARFAX indicates PCM reprogrammed on 11/2019). Which version of the software is good to go?

Based on the forum posts, would removing Fuse 43 bring back some of the original exhaust notes?

You can use Auto or Manual (paddles or shift) in Sports mode. In Drive, you can use Auto or Manual (paddles only). To get "out" of manual after shifting, hold down the Upshift for a few seconds, and it goes back to Auto.

The 2016 should have all the snaps and pops. I don't believe any update tones it down on a 2016. At about 3000-4000 rpm, while coasting down, "feather" the throttle a bit and it should spit and bang and pop like crazy - it's really addictive!

In my My18 there's a vehicle setting option to allow paddles in only S or in both S and D.
