Panamera or Quattroporte competitor?
Four-Door Jaguar F-Type Is One Sleek Sedan

Certainly much more attractive.

Ummm.....no!

Do you think they would be able to sell more than 1000 units per year world-wide?

Nope, esp when you can buy the XE-R with the same 340hp SC V6 for 20K less, and fit people in it...

Default F-Type Shooting Brake

Also a non-starter:

Yes, I hate that design with the radically sloping roofline, which doesn't really differentiate it from the Coupe, but something more along these lines might attract new buyers desiring reasonable cargo capacity. I had the M-Roadster in this color (Imola Red) with same interior. This Coupe version developed quite a cult following and is becoming very desirable today.

I actually am a little curious why they didn't merge elements of the F-Type into a sedan for the XE instead of making it the far less exciting XF, junior. Weren't they trying to attract younger buyers with it?

I like it!! I would switch out for it if the SVR 4D AWD version existed...

I've always had a soft spot for a proper shooting brake - Ferrari FF is my dream car.

I think it looks good. Better looking than the Aston Rapide imo. I do like the Porsche Panamera but I'd take the Jag 4 door over it as well.
