Front license plate holder tow hook style
#21
I have the GMG thing on the MB wagon and it looks extremely cool. Incredibly well made. A sophisticated European appearance. The Sto thing is an lesser alternative as far as I can see. The location in the center on the grill is antithetical to the whole idea of getting the plate out of the way and off to the side so you ca see the beauty of the front fascia. I spoke with the neighborhood Ferrari dealer and the GMG thing is what they use. The F is licensed in a one plate state or I would put a GMG bracket on it in minute. Another thing is that the GMG thing is in the center of the bumper and so less susceptible to damage than the Sto which is lower. The GMG thing can be flipped left to right and up and down and so the pic in the thread is not definitive.

IMHO putting the front plate asymmetrical is far more distracting than not seeing the "beauty of the front fascia". The fact that the sto-n-show is lower down doesn't distract from the symmetry or the fascia. I'll admit that most of the time I ride front plate less but it is a matter of seconds to install it when necessary. That's their USP as far as I am concerned.
