Ftype not the same after new tires
Havent posted here in a while, but had nowhere else to turn to get a satisfactory explanation, so here goes...
All started when I noticed a nail in my rear driver tire. Took it to tire shop, ordered a pair of new pzeros and had them change both the driver and passenger rear tires.
Since then car started feeling unstable and mildly swerving at high speeds. Took it back to tire shop to check balancing and the rear passenger turns out to have a dent. So I take it to a wheel shop and they fix the dent and I'm happy because my baby will be as glued to the road as before, except it isn't.
It feels much better, but still not the same as before.
Car feels "slippery" at speeds above 60. Like driving in a windy day when the wind pushes you side to side. Steering also feels "looser". Not dangerously obvious, but noticeable to the point that I'm not enjoying driving it.
I miss my glued to the ground car that wouldn't even budge doing 120 on the same road where it now feels unstable at 75.
Please help.

They're the exact same pzeros as the ones before...checked the number on them. They're also installed properly ie, inside/outside.
Can alignment go out on the rear axle?

When you say "the exact same pzeros as the ones before" are they marked JRS on the sidewall, meaning Jaguar-spec? There are several variations of PZero out there, each with different rubber compounds.
(Just look at the Tire Rack selection...10 different PZeros in our rear size!!!!!)
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireS...earDiameter=17
Unless you specified, I bet the tire store didn't worry and got whatever was 'in stock'.
For the record, our replacement rear PZeros are marked 'AMS' (Aston Martin? AMG-Merc?) and there is no funky handling.
+++++++++++++++
My advice is to:
1. Verify proper cold air pressures F&R. (I've had tire store monkeys leave them at the same inflation as they needed to 'pop the bead'. )
2. If that is OK, see if increasing rear pressure a bit (no more than two PSI) calms the rear down.
Also, remember that tires often need a 500 mile Break-In before they grip fully. New tires have the little 'bumps', and mold release compounds on the tread.
I'll never forget the first time I bought new tires years ago, and on the way home, I took one curve at the same speed I was used to...and almost ended up in the ditch on the other side of the road! Thankfully there was no oncoming traffic!

I just put PS4's on my car and experiencing the exact same thing! the car was just aligned as well, due to a recent mishap, all the wheels are in perfect shape, but the alignment shop said that they needed to put the passenger side camber at 0, instead of negative one, to get it on straight, due to damaged control arms, they are on order so hopefully its the control arm and lack of camber, and not the supposedly best tires for the F-type.
