Default Fuel tank gauge calibration

Hi everyone. Notice the last three times I’ve refueled that the fuel gauge no longer shows full. It shows about an eighth of a tank below full, even when I intentionally fill it up to the cap. It stays at that point for a while while driving and eventually goes down per normal as the fuel is consumed. Anybody else experience this? Thank

No one else on this forum fortunately had this problem, dealer had to remove fuel tank and replace sender. Not a small job, dealer seemed to do a decent job of not tearing up the car. How many of the 30 or so cars I’ve owned in my life had a failed fuel gage?Only this one...

The float on my John Deere tractor got stuck. I use a broom stick now.

As transportation or for measuring the fuel level?

I’ve tried both. Works well as a fuel gauge. Not so well as transportation.
