At what average speed? The difference between fuel mileage at 55 mph and 75 mph is significant.

My best mpg trips were always log distance (over 150 miles) at highway speeds of 65 to 75 mph. Dynamic mode Off, simply in D with the cruise control on. I've range between 28.8 to 30.6 mpg on these trips.

Simply being in 8th gear at low RPMs really does save the gas. I was anticipating much worse fuel mileage, although I can and do frequently see 8 mpg around town on my fun quick trips.

Oh dear. So apparently driving with dynamic and exhaust, while also driving to "hear what I want to hear" puts me firmly around 18-20mpg. I think I better try harder to save more gas.

Oh, wait. No. LOL

I am so lucky I am coming from a 95 Wrangler. I would worry about it more, but I am SHOCKED how often I have to get gas. LOL

Of course, that's 2000 miles in one month.

This is more or less spot on what I am experiencing as well.

A 300 mile round trip at the weekend, mostly at a steady 70mph-ish, saw me getting 28.9 miles to the (UK) gallon.

According to my converter app, that's 34.7mpg in US gallons, which sounds pretty good!

On the negative side, the car is now run in, so I'm expecting mpg to drop off a cliff now..!
